Yarpızlı is a long table set by a lake, among the trees. Time runs slowly here: the fish comes from the lake, the kebab from the grill, and the tea always comes with mint.
Yarpız is the Azerbaijani folk name for mint. It gives us our name, and our tea its scent.

A stone path leads you through the trees to the water's edge. The cabins stand above the lake; morning mist and evening sunsets become part of the table.
